What are the official rules and regulations?

We ask that you respect the following rules while participating in the event:
While running, stay on the designated course. Any racer that cuts the course will be disqualified.
In the case of unforeseeable circumstances due to weather or other extenuating circumstances that prevents the safe continuation the race,
race officials may interrupt or end the race at any given time. This rule will be implemented in the most extreme cases for the safety of the
runners or officials.

What if my team only has seven people?

All teams must consist of 8 people.

Do you have to register all 8 team members at once?

Yes. The team captain must create the team. The team captain chooses a team name and invites his or her teammates to join - all teammates must be registered 6 days before the run.

Does the team captain have to pay the entire registration fee for the team?

No, each team member pays for him or herself when they join the team.

Is online registration the only way to register?

No. You may also mail in the registration form, or register on race day, but we encourage online registration. The process is safe and easy.

When does registration close?

Both mail in and online registration will close 6 days prior to event. There are no refunds on registrations.

Does the gener8tion run benefit any charity?

Yes, gener8tionrun is the signature fundraising event of Students Run Philly Style, the only program in Philadelphia that helps youth go farther through mentorship and long distance running.
