What are the official rules and regulations?

We ask that you respect the following rules while participating in the event:
While running, stay on the designated course. Any racer that cuts the course will be disqualified.
In the case of unforeseeable circumstances due to weather or other extenuating circumstances that prevents the safe continuation the race,
race officials may interrupt or end the race at any given time. This rule will be implemented in the most extreme cases for the safety of the
runners or officials.

What if my team only has seven people?

All teams must consist of 8 people.

Do I have to register all 8 team members at once?

No. The team captain will have to register, create a team name and password, and pay for the team. This will automatically add their team name to the dropdown. The captain will receive a confirmation email with the team password in it, and a link to the registration page, so they can forward it to other team members. The Team Members will then register, they will choose their team from a dropdown and enter the team password. This enables each participant to sign the waiver for legal purposes.

Is online registration the only way to register?

Yes. The process is safe and easy.

When does registration close?

Online registration will close 6 days prior to event. There are no refunds on registrations.

Does the gener8tion run benefit any charity?

Yes, gener8tionrun is the signature fundraising event of Students Run Philly Style, the only program in Philadelphia that helps youth go farther through mentorship and long distance running.
